The Information Security Office (ISO) is responsible for the security of all protected information that is collected, used, maintained, or released by the University as well as ensuring campus compliance with Federal, State, CSU, and Campus Information Security mandates. The ISO also develops and implements campus-wide information security strategies and management program for the entire university. Additionally, the ISO researches and evaluates procedural and technical solutions that can be applied to campus networks, and manages the University response to security incidents. Furthermore, the Information Security Office maintains the configuration control of security devices, software applied to centralized network, and systems supporting the University. The Information Security Officer is a member of the Information Technology Leadership Team, and works in collaboration with other managers in the Information Technology department and other divisions to support the University's mission.
